Dear Readers,
from 22nd to 24th September I attended a workshop and had the opportunity to get one of the restricted media access passes for Round 7 of the VLN Endurance Races at the Nürburgring.
We started on Friday with a Pit Walk and the task to do a Photo-Story.
Being the first time in a Pit, I was quite lost as it was crowded with spectators, crews, cars and (VIP) guests and most of it all
I had not developped an idea what I wanted to tell with my pictures.
So I started watching closely for something special to happen and warming up by taking random pictures.
After a while “creativity happened” and here are my results.
The second day was the race day.
In the morning we did our first shots during the training and warm up sessions.
Then I had my second rendezvous with the Pit and for the first time the Starting Grid.
It was even more crowded than the day before, but also more fun.
One could see crews bustling to finalize last preparations, cars being pushed to their starting position and drivers with tunnel vision.
